At the Dirty Dog Studio there are several ways to experience clay for all ages. At Dirty Dog, we believe that each person should create their own vision, and we offer the tools to do so. There are formal classes here, as well “open studio” times for independent work.

The Class Experience

When you take a pottery class, you will learn the fundamentals of working with clay while creating the types of objects that best match your interests. You can take a turn at the wheel, coil, slab or sculpt away, stamp, carve, glaze and decorate your designs, and be inspired by the ideas of others. These evening classes are perfect for the working adult who needs a release from other kinds of busyness.

Come Out & Get Dirty

Come Out & Get Dirty is family fun! This youth-oriented class lets imagination run wild, while granting permission to play in the mud. You will be amazed at the direction creativity takes the projects we suggest. All ages are welcome, and materials are included.

Open Studio

With a Studio Membership, you can play at your own pace and follow your muse, with all the Dirty Dog tools at your disposal. You’ll meet interesting people and enjoy watching clay go into the kiln and come out transformed, week after week. It is a colorful place! Just call ahead so we can make sure the Studio is open and ready for you.*
